ACTEM Virtual ISTE+ASCD Book Study

Join educators from Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont for a virtual winter book study of EdTech Essentials: 12 Strategies For Every Classroom in the Age of AI! The book study will be conducted over 4 Zoom gatherings facilitated by Alice Barr, a retired technology integrator from the Yarmouth School Department in Maine. The author of EdTech Essentials: 12 Strategies For Every Classroom in the Age of AI, Dr. Monica Burns, will join the final and culminating Book Study Session (April 3).

  DETAILS:

  • Pre-registration is required ASAP, but not later than 2/5/2025, so ACT QUICKLY!!!

  • Six (6) professional learning contact hours will be awarded to those who participate in all four virtual book study Zoom meetings.

  • Registration includes shipping the book directly to YOUR preferred address.

  MEETING DATES: (Four afternoon sessions from 4:30-5:30 PM)

  • Session #1:  Thursday, February 13th - Kick-off session
  • Session #2:  Thursday, March 6th
  • Session #3:  Thursday, March 20th
  • Session #4:  Thursday, April 3rd with author Monica Burns

  REGISTRATION FEE:   ACTEM Members - $15       Non-Members - $35
